Our Phoenix Trip

There's a lot of pictures on this slideshow, so stick around and see them all! We went to Phoenix on February 8 through the 11. The girls did GREAT on the plane both ways! So proud of them! It was Mark's Grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary. We were excited for everyone to meet Sydney and see Elizabeth again. The girls only have 1 cousin and it was fun for them to all see eachother. Mark has 2 cousins who are pretty much the same age as the girls and so with the 4 of them together, it was pretty wild! They had fun.
It was great to see Mark's mom and everyone on her side of the family, too!

11 months!

Sydney is 11 months today!
She continues to be a joy in our lives.
Constant learning and busy, busy, busy!
She is a very happy baby.
She can say "da-da" "ma-ma" "ba-ba"
"T" sounds, "Itty" (for kitty)
Crawling and walking while holding onto things are her favorites.
She loves to eat!
She's starting out on more solid foods like Cheerios and little baby crackers.
Very exciting!
Sydney Belle, we love you so much!
Happy 11 months!

Happy February

Fun Saturday

It was a fun night last night. We went out with my cousin, Rachelle and her husband, Dave.
We met at McGrath's and just chatted and ate and had a great old time!
My mom came over to our house to watch the girls. Dad and Grandpa came over with dinner for them. They had fun!
After our dinner, we went and saw The Bucket List. It was hillarious. Sad, but funny, too. Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman can make anything funny and worth watching. They're such great actors.
Rachelle and Dave are so cute and it was good to see them and be able to keep in touch.
It was a fun Saturday night and I hope we get to go out with them again soon.

Indoor Picnic

Elizabeth was so stinkin' cute tonight.
She gets a few blankets and arranges them all over the floor, goes and gets plates, cups, bowls, and spoons and says "Mommy, I'm having a picnic!"
Well, who am I to say no? I joined right in!
She got a few toys who were going to come. Wrapped them up because they were going to take a nap. Then we got our spoons and started digging in!
Wow what a fun time. Elizabeth has the BEST imagination.
So, who needs it to be 70 degrees outside? We can have a fun time inside on a cold, winter's night having an indoor picnic!
Thanks, Elizabeth baby...Mommy had fun.

What's Going On?

Well, I know I havn't said much on my blog lately. January has been CRAZY! My life is so busy.
Mark's dad came to visit on the 7 through the 12. It was so much fun! He had never met Sydney, of course, but he hadn't seen Elizabeth since she was 4 months old...and now she's 4 YEARS old! Needless to say, it was a pretty incredible visit.

While he was here, Sydney got really sick. I actually had to take her to the ER here. Turned out she had an ear infection and her lungs weren't 100% clear. They said it was pretty much pneumonia. She had to be on medication for a few days.
She got better pretty quick.
Then I got sick...again! I've been sick 3 times since October. I never get sick like this. I guess it's because I work full-time at a school where my students are coughing and sneezing in my face! Gotta love 'em.
Then when we had to put Summer down. That was very difficult.
The girls have had a great time at school this month! Sydney is loving school. She is crawling all over and playing with all the toys. Standing up while holding onto the tables and chairs and whatever she can find. The kids just love her to pieces and the high school students are so good with taking care of her. She is very loved there. Elizabeth loves having her sister at school with her. She's learning so many things. This pre-school is so wonderful. Each week there's a theme. Yesterday was "Teddy Bear Day" Everyone took a bear. How cute!
Elizabeth always brings home so many cute little crafts or drawings that she has done that day. Our fridge is so decorated!
I've been very busy at work. The kids are so cute. It's draining, but you gotta do what you gotta do!
Here's some random pictures of the girls being silly and having fun at home.
