I Can't Wait!

Today on Yahoo! there was a link to the trailer for the new Harry Potter movie that comes out on November 21.
If you know me at all, then you know I'm IN LOVE with the Harry Potter series!
There's 7 books and the 7th book came out last summer and of course I've finished them all. I'm going to start all over again soon. This new movie the the 6th book. The Half-Blood Prince. To those of you who don't read the books, that probably sounds like a weird or dumb title, but ya gotta just read to know what it means. And I mean start from the 1st book. Go through the journey.
Anyway, theres tons of new production pics on the site and this was my favorite one.

The actors are growing up beautifully and portraying the characters who I know and love so much just wonderfully!
Needless to say, Mark and I will be in line to get in the theater on opening night. And, oh yeah, this book is the reason for my blog name.

Sydney at 16 months

She's getting bigger!

Hello Everyone

It's been a crazy summer.........
Here's what's going on with our fam..
So, Mark's dad has been back and forth visiting us here and there...he floats from job to job and location to location. He's from Phoenix, but he's lived in Texas, Florida, Las Vegas, and most recently, Washington. So, last time he was here visiting, Mark said if things don't work out there, then come here. Mark really liked the idea of his dad being here and getting to see him more often. It's been like Mark doesn't even have a family except for mine because we NEVER see them.
For those of you who don't know, Mark is the youngest of 3 boys. His mom lives in Phoenix. His oldest brother, Mike has a 4 year old daughter named Meadow and she and her mom live in Phoenix. They are going through a divorce. Which leads me to my next paragraph. And the middle brother, Matt, lives in California with his wife, Jennifer.
Love them to death!
Ok, so, Mike calls Mark a couple months ago and is really going through a tough time, so in a nutshell, he asks if he can move here and work with Mark and be close to our family. Of course we say yes. He's here and actually living upstairs at my parent's house now that Jonathan and Matthew have moved out! Jonathan and Aubrey are having Matthew stay with them! How sweet of them.
Ok, so we are looking for a new house with a basement so that Mike can live in the basement and he'll help with the mortgage payments. So, we have put an ad in the paper about our house and we are going to put up a For Sale sign pretty soon. UGH! The thought of moving...yuck!
Oh and by the way, Mark's dad did call and things didn't work out for him in Washington and yeah, he's living with us, and has been since like June 7. So, Mark's family is coming out of the woodwork so to speak, and needless to say my summer has been crazy! I feel like a chicken with it's head cut off sometimes. My mom is so sweet to come over almost every week day to take Elizabeth and Sydney to the park and school lunch and I get to go to the gym and take a break with my iPod blasting in my ears...
So, we are looking around the same area here just because I can't be too far from my school and the girl's pre-school. So, wish us luck on that!
Other than all that, things have been great! Mark and I went out with my cousin, Rachelle and her husband, Dave to the Gateway for dinner and a movie. We saw Get Smart. It was hilarious! I'm in love with Steve Carrell. I saw Dan In Real LIfe...oh my gosh so good!
I saw Hancock, too. Wow, Will Smith is unbelievable...The Pursuit of Happyness made me have so much respect for him!
Anyways, that's that for now. We are hangin in there! Hope all is well with everyone.

Happy 4th!

Well, here we are in July!
Our new printer still needs to be hooked up to our comp, but for some reason, the outlets aren't working and so the printer is unable to work! If it's not one thing, it's something else, I swear!
So, all the fun things that we have been doing in the past month, can't be seen.
I do have pics....just wait!
So, we did our trip to Jackson Hole and it was fabulous! At first we stopped in Idaho Falls and visited Emily and Dustin. Everyone knows what happened there so I won't even bother...Emily seems to be doing great. So glad we were there for them.
Anyways, Jackson was beautiful as usual. Our cabin we stayed in was one that I had cleaned 12 years ago in my housekeeping duties! How funny, huh?
Our patio view was breathtaking and I wish I could show the pictures, but I will when this is all fixed. The Tetons from our room....I just wished I had brought my watercolors!
Elizabeth made a cute little friend who was 2 rooms down from us and they ran all over the place together finding whistle pigs (little ground hogs) and looking at things thru their binoculars and they found a bat right outside our room! It was so cute! Elizabeth had a ball with this little girl. She was so nice...she was from Texas. Sydney of course was in heaven, too! Everything was so brand new and exciting for her. Running all over the place!
Then my parents took Elizabeth up to Idaho Falls to see Emily's performance she was playing in. The musical Brigadoon. Elizabeth had so much fun! It was wonderful for her to get away from me and the house and everything. She really needed it. So did I!
So, today is the 4th of July! We did our little tradition of going to the zoo.
It was fun. Sydney LOVES the zoo...so much more than Elizabeth. She literally almost jumped out of her stroller when she saw the animals and cried and cried when we would walk away from them to go see a different animal or whatever. She loves everything so much! We rode on the carousel again...so cute. I love the colors.
Well, we are still here...I'm just being lazy and not documenting as much, but hey, that's life. I love reading everyone's blog and seeing what you're all up to.
