"Hey Mom! I pulled my tooth out!"

Elizabeth lost her 1st tooth! Yay Big girl! This tooth has been loose for probably a month or 2...I can't even remember when we first noticed it, but she's been working on it forever it seems like. We've been trying for weeks now to get it out. She just wasn't ready to let it go that way. Elizabeth is so smart so I knew I had to just leave it up to her to get this tooth out!
So, on Wednesday, I was picking her up from pre-school to take her to Kindergarten. I always pass by other moms who are also picking up their kids to take them to kindergarten. I saw Elizabeth's friend, Marlee and her mom. They told me that all the rage in the pre-school right then was that Elizabeth had just lost a tooth! I was like "What? Finally!" So, I rushed in there and there's Elizabeth with a little ziplock baggie holding it up for everyone to see. She's got about 5 or 6 kids all huddled around her looking at her tooth in the bag and then looking at the new little "gap" in her mouth. She sees me and runs up to me and I pretend I don't know a thing! "Hey Mommy! I pulled my tooth out!" Well, of course I had to be Miss Drama Queen and make the biggest deal out of it. I was so proud of her! I grabbed her and hugged her and cheered her on. Her pre-school teachers said that they've never had anyone loose a tooth while they were there at school. So she made history. She is loving the fact that SHE was the one who got out her tooth and no one else. Sydney was very proud as well...as much as she could be while she's busy playing with baby dolls and riding bikes with Grant and Ava...
Such a sign that my Elizabeth is growing up so fast! (Guess who has a birthday soon? Cannot believe it)

Fun Saturday!

We just had to go back to Gardner Village! Then we went to a little shop and got stuff for the front yard decorations...my spiders look so cute on the straw! The girls had so much fun jumping in the leaves and putting them in the big pumpkin bags...It was a fun day!

Web Crawlers

Here's how I spent my day with the girls...Being Halloween crafty...I saw this idea in a magazine to make these cute Pumpkin Spiders! I think they turned out pretty good.
Now anyone who knows me knows I have an incredible fear of spiders. Just typing the word makes me cringe. The girls have books about spiders that I can't even pick up. Elizabeth loves to chase me around the house with the books in her hands and try to shove them in my face. It's really bad!
Anyways, as terrible as my fear is, I LOVE Halloween spiders. I loved making these. You can't tell from the picture, but they're covered in glitter to make them sparkle! I think I need to embellish a little more with a web and some hay and a corn stalk or something...Ok, check back again soon.
In the meantime, I hope you like my little web crawlers! P.S. Sydney helped!

Gardner Village

Here's the pics from our yearly Halloween visit to Gardner Village! This place is so CUTE. And we always get a caramel apple for the ride home. Soo yummy. I think I raved about them on last year's post. It's so much fun to see my girls enjoy these holidays and different places we go...Like St George and everything...when we go year to year and then see how they react to everything differently because they are growing up so fast! It was so sweet to watch Sydney just go crazy with excitement yesterday at GV and just soak it all in like it was the coolest, funnest place ever.
There was a black cat that was roaming the whole village and she ran right up to it and wanted to hold it and play. Elizabeth thought it was the neatest thing that we were there to see all the Halloween decor and the witches that were placed throughout the village, and then to top it off, we get to play with a black kitty!
It made their day.
