Still No Pictures :(

So, I found my camera a long time ago...but when the computer got that virus, it was completly cleaned out and everything was erased...except for my photos thank goodness...but, now we need to get a new printer because I can't download pics from my camera to put on my blog. It's maddening! So, that's my update.
Other than that, we have been having a crazy summer so far!
My mom has been so great to again come over and have "Grandma Day" with the girls almost every week day! She did this last summer, too, if you remember. Taking the girls to the school across the street from our house, Washington Elementary, for lunch. Elizabeth loved doing it last summer and Sydney was of course just a newborn so she didn't really do much. Now, Sydney is loving it, too! She has sandwiches and applesauce and juice. She loves going to the school. Well, she's my little social butterfly...they both are actually. Sydney just LOVES people though! So, concerned and in tune with everything that's going on around her.
Yesterday we went to the zoo and rode on the brand new carousel. It was a blast! Sydney loved the tiger and leopard! Kitty, kitty!
Anyway, we are trying to keep busy and do as much as we can because before I know it, school will be back in session!

That's My Girl

Yesterday Elizabeth said the cutest thing.
We all just had our baths/showers and were getting ready for the day.
Elizabeth looks at me and asks, "Are you my mom?"
Now, of course she knows the answer and she didn't even have to ask, but she was trying to make a point, see? My smart daughter!
I said, "Yes, I'm your mom."
She says, "You don't look like a mom. You look like a teenager!"
Um...what? I was surprised and flattered at the same time. Elizabeth thinks I look young and hip? WOW!
All I could say was, "Thank you sweetie! I love you!" Gave her a big hug and kiss.

Summer Vacation!

Well, we had to get our computer fixed last week and into this week because of a virus that I accidentally downloaded! You just don't download new things onto your computer! Oh, I know this already...oh well, it was about the Chili Peppers and I thought I was going to see an interview...I love those guys!
Anyways, school is out for summer vac!!
It would be an understatement if I said it was the biggest rollercoaster ride I've been on since giving birth to 2 children! Wow...what a ride. But, I wouldn't have had it any other way and Elizabeth and Sydney had the time of their little lives at pre-school this year! It was SO GREAT having them just down the street from me. I have it so good. So, now we are trying to entertain ourselves and enjoying our time off. I am so mad because I can't find my camera and post new pics. I'll keep looking!
So, yes I'm still here and I enjoyed looking at all of your blogs again! What would we do without the internet?
